Overview If you’re a Smart Rver looking for an exciting place to travel to, Bay County may just be the right place for you. Within the county, you can fish for snapper, catfish and flounder at St. Andrews Marina, check out the Robert L Mckenzie historical house and visit the beautiful Shell Island. With lots to do this may be the perfect getaway for you!

Places to Eat
Being so close to the bay gives you the opportunity to try some amazing seafood! Here are a few options that offer Seafood and more!

  • Schooners
    Satisfy your hunger for seafood at this well-known restaurant when you order a grouper sandwich, fried shrimp or fish tacos! And since they offer breakfast, lunch and dinner menu items, you can go anytime, morning, afternoon or evening to have a great meal! 
  • Saltwater Grill
    Another amazing (and a touch more classy) option can be found at the Saltwater Grill, located right downtown this place is a must visit! It features a beautiful 25,000 gallon tropical saltwater aquarium, with many amazing fish to look at as you dine. With incredible seafood and steaks, a full bar and awesome live music, you don’t want to miss out having a meal at this fine restaurant! 
  • The British Eatery
    At this point, you may be a bit tired of the endless seafood places and you might want to try a different type of cuisine. At The British Eatery, you can try traditional British dishes like fish and chips, onion pastries and order a Absinthe, draft beer or wine to pair with your meal!

  • Panama City Beach RV Resort
    This is a perfect place to stay and you will love the accommodations! With a heated pool, fitness center, showers and RV hookups you will find everything you need here. This RV resort is also gated for privacy and safety. And they are very pet-friendly so if you want to bring along your furry friend, don’t hesitate! If you’re around Jefferson County

Overview This place offers a lot! From gorgeous ocean views to abundant nature and incredible historical spots you should never experience a dull moment. Check out the beautiful Greek revival style Wirick Simmons home that you can tour. Or the Monticello Opera House, that is host to many fun and exciting events like an interactive Murder Mystery Dinner Theatre, or catch a play like The Scarlet Letter, On Golden Pond and many more. And don’t forget to check out the many fun shops and antique shops in the area. And you can’t miss out on a trip to Jacksonville, where you can visit the Cummer Museum of Art and Gardens, the Museum of Science and History and Jacksonville Beach! With so much to do here, you’ll have to extend your trip!

  • Chez Martha
    If you’re feeling fancy and want a dining experience that you will never forget, then this is the restaurant for you! It’s a very beautiful location, inside and outside. This 5 Star place offers a chef-designed menu and fine wine. Be sure to book your reservation to eat here at least 4 days in advance to secure your table!
  • Rancho Grande
    This is also a great spot to get some amazing Mexican food! Choose from their extensive menu that includes fajitas, chile con queso, enchiladas, tacos and much more. Rancho Grande offers take-out too, so if you feel like taking your food and heading back to the RV park then be sure to order over the phone or online.  
  • Rock Bottom Seafood & Grill This place is a perfect option for dining on some seafood! Satisfy your appetite with fried oysters, catfish, shrimp and so much more. This delicious place will have you coming back for more. 

Places to Park your RV

  • Flamingo Lake RV Resort
    With 254 spots available, you will be able to find a place to stay here. The accommodations include a dump station, laundry, propane, wifi and hot showers! It is also extremely pet friendly. This park is open all year round so whenever you’re planning your trip, make Flamingo Lake RV Resort an option for your stay.
  • Stagecoach RV Park
    This is a conveniently located RV park, right off of I-95 it’s the perfect stop for a long stay or a short stay if you’re headed to your next destination. Amenities include but are not limited to a dog park, outdoor activities and games, modern bathhouse and laundry, LP fill up and much more! With very reasonable rates you will want to consider this place for your stay.
  • Pecan Park RV Resort
    Another great option for your RV rest stop is the Pecan Park RV Resort. This place has everything from nice restroom and shower facilities to on-site storage and laundry. It’s also located very close to the Jacksonville Zoo and Gardens, if you’re looking for a fun day in the sun. 

Down by the Gulf

Overview This is quite the place to go if you love the ocean! With miles of gorgeous sandy beach and glowing sunshine, you’ll have the vacation you’ve always dreamed about. Mexico Beach is certainly a must-see, with its bright white sand and picturesque views you won’t want to leave. You might even catch a glimpse of one of the five different species of turtles in the area. You also have a high chance of seeing dolphins, as they are here all year round. There are so many things to do and see nearby like the Vamar Shipwreck site. You can step back into history and see where the mysterious British gunboat (turned freighter) sank back in 1942. There’s never a dull moment here.

    This place totally speaks for itself, it has killer good food!! With an extensive seafood menu and famous killer tuna tacos, you will want to give this place a chance. It gets a very high rating on Tripadvisor, and the reviews about the incredible dishes will make your mouth water.
  • Crazy Beach Pizza
    If you’re in the mood for pizza, this place will satisfy your craving! From specialty pizzas, calzones, wings, cold and hot sandwiches and even salad, this place has it all. Give them a call if you would like a to-go order or come in to have a fresh and hot slice right there at the restaurant.
  • Shipwreck Raw Bar
    This incredible place has a wonderful menu like Alaskan Snow Crab legs, shrimp scampi, Oysters and much more. They also serve wine, beer and delicious desserts. Experience seafood how it should be experienced at this bar!

  • Presnell’s Bayside Marina & RV Resort

This fun place has all the gorgeous views of the Gulf that you could ever want! With full hookups (30/50) amps and sewer, laundry and propane, you’ll have everything you need right here! They even have picnic tables, fire pits and a heated swimming pool! Make this place your home away from home! 

  • Emerald Coast RV Resort
    This wonderful place has a lot of accommodations, just for you! They have not one but two heated pools and a hot tub, a big clubhouse with a fitness center and game room, nearby fishing, a laundry room and so much more! With many spots available, you may want to give this place a chance to be your RV’s next stop!
  • El Governor Beach Resort & RV Park
    Give this place a look, it has a lot to offer including a great location with beautiful views! With over 60 spots to park your RV, you should have no problem booking with this place! With fun onsite activities, a picnic area, wifi and laundry, it’s hard to pass this option up!
