Places to Eat near the Florida Panhandle
Being so close to the bay gives you the opportunity to try some amazing seafood! Here are a few options that offer Seafood and more!

  • Schooners
    Satisfy your hunger for seafood at this well-known restaurant when you order a grouper sandwich, fried shrimp or fish tacos! And since they offer breakfast, lunch and dinner menu items, you can go anytime, morning, afternoon or evening to have a great meal!
  • Saltwater Grill
    Another amazing (and a touch more classy) option can be found at the Saltwater Grill, located right downtown this place is a must visit! It features a beautiful 25,000 gallon tropical saltwater aquarium, with many amazing fish to look at as you dine. With incredible seafood and steaks, a full bar and awesome live music, you don’t want to miss out having a meal at this fine restaurant!
  • The British Eatery
    At this point, you may be a bit tired of the endless seafood places and you might want to try a different type of cuisine. At The British Eatery, you can try traditional British dishes like fish and chips, onion pastries and order a Absinthe, draft beer or wine to pair with your meal!

Or the Monticello Opera House, that is host to many fun and exciting events like an interactive Murder Mystery Dinner Theatre, or catch a play like The Scarlet Letter, On Golden Pond and many more.

And don’t forget to check out the many fun shops and antique shops in the area. And you can’t miss out on a trip to Jacksonville, where you can visit the Cummer Museum of Art and Gardens, the Museum of Science and History and Jacksonville Beach! With so much to do here, you’ll have to extend your trip!

  • Chez Martha
    If you’re feeling fancy and want a dining experience that you will never forget, then this is the restaurant for you! It’s a very beautiful location, inside and outside. This 5 Star place offers a chef-designed menu and fine wine. Be sure to book your reservation to eat here at least 4 days in advance to secure your table!
  • Rancho Grande
    This is also a great spot to get some amazing Mexican food! Choose from their extensive menu that includes fajitas, chile con queso, enchiladas, tacos and much more. Rancho Grande offers take-out too, so if you feel like taking your food and heading back to the RV park then be sure to order over the phone or online.
  • Rock Bottom Seafood & Grill This place is a perfect option for dining on some seafood! Satisfy your appetite with fried oysters, catfish, shrimp and so much more. This delicious place will have you coming back for more.

Places to Park your RV near the Florida Panhandle

  • Flamingo Lake RV Resort

Mexico Beach is certainly a must-see, with its bright white sand and picturesque views you won’t want to leave. You might even catch a glimpse of one of the five different species of turtles in the area.

You also have a high chance of seeing dolphins, as they are here all year round. There are so many things to do and see nearby like the Vamar Shipwreck site. You can step back into history and see where the mysterious British gunboat (turned freighter) sank back in 1942. There’s never a dull moment here in the Florida Panhandle

  • Shipwreck Raw Bar
    This incredible place has a wonderful menu like Alaskan Snow Crab legs, shrimp scampi, Oysters and much more. They also serve wine, beer and delicious desserts. Experience seafood how it should be experienced at this bar!
